The HOPE charity has released a series of new short films on their website to raise awareness of the services that the Charity provides.

In collaboration with Sheffield based company, Fortay Media, the films were produced in their studios, with staff and volunteers from the charity as well as partners, talking about the work of HOPE.

An overview film provides a summary of what families coming to HOPE can expect and what support is available for them.

A film promoting the road safety workshop Collision – which is available for young people aged 13-18 years not in mainstream education – outlines what the session involves and how to book it.

Sargeant Andrew Whittaker from South Yorkshire Police talks about his role as a family liaison officer and the value of being able to refer families to HOPE who have had a loved one killed in a road traffic collision.

A number of shorter clips contain feedback from families who have been supported by HOPE as well as comments from some of our volunteers. Their statements were read by members of staff and medical students from Sheffield University Medical School who came to HOPE on placement with the Charity.

Charity Operations Manager Maryann said, “We’d like to say a huge thank you to Fortay Media for assisting us in making these films. They made us feel so welcome in the studio and comfortable in front of the camera.

“It’s important to us that information is available to those people who might need HOPE’s support These films allow us to update the content on our website and make it more accessible.”
